Little Dragon Exhaustion
Tuesday, November 29th, 2005Just got back from the Kempo Regional Champs - two days of full on kung fu training and competitions. Ollie managed to get 2nd place in two events - Womens Free Fighting under green and Okinawa weapons under black. She doesnt count the free fighting, as there was only one other competitor other than herself. For the weapons form, she managed to take a weapon she was not so confident with, the staff, and beat loads of green, blue and brown belts. She did loads better than me, who managed to be the only one from our gwoon not to win anything. I put all my effort into the form Little Dragon Extension - tried sooo hard, but to no avail. Saying that, i got away without breaking toes or pinching nerves, so it wasn’t all bad. An excellent weekend

I got my Bujinkan 7th kyu about a month ago and was chuffed to bits. Absolutely loving it and would love to challenge you Ollie with a staff!!! As long as you go easy on me!
